Kaitlin Keegan

Kaitlin Keegan, the Naarm-based / Boorloo-raised, indie-folk singer-songwriter might just be Melbourne music scene’s best kept secret. But not for long.

In her career so far, Keegan already has a slew of impressive achievements under her belt: inking a publishing deal with Mushroom Music, being invited to SongHubs – a songwriting workshop curated by Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla, selling out headline shows across her adopted hometown and sharing stages with artists such as Sophie May (UK), Paul Dempsey, Brad Cox and Boy and Bear.

Along with her own music, she has also collaborated with WA’s Supathick and electronic artist Tim Shiel, appearing on his song ‘Sparrow’, which was added to Double J, multiple playlists across Spotify and Apple Music as well as receiving airplay from US tastemaker station KCRW. As Shiel himself says, “Kaitlin’s voice has a stunning purity and directness that embeds reality in everything she sings, and as a songwriter she has a gift for elevating the everyday into something majestic, and that’s a rare gift.”
