  • Echuca-Moama is in northern Victoria on the banks of the Murray River, approximately 220kms (2.5 hours) from Melbourne. Google has prepared a map for you here.

  • Riverboats is held at Aquatic Reserve, Echuca, a natural amphitheatre on the banks of the Murray River.

    Aquatic Reserve is located on Heygarth Street, Echuca - under the red gums, just 200 metres from the shops.

  • Riverboats 2027 will take place from Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21 2027

  • Tickets to Riverboats 2027 go on sale on Thursday, October 8 at 9:00am

  • If you purchased tickets online via OzTix, email us and we will resend.

    If you arrive at the Festival without your tickets you will need to present a valid form of photo ID at the Festival Box Office for us to reissue.

  • Yes - Riverboats have partnered with Tixel to create a safe online space to buy and sell festival tickets.

    Tixel also have a waitlist you can join if tickets are currently unavailable.

  • Upon arrival at Riverboats, patrons must present their OzTix ticket (printed or digital). Our Festival crew will then scan the ticket's QR code and issue an applicable wristband.

    *A valid wristband must be worn at all times to gain access to the Riverboats Music Festival - no wristband, no entry.

  • Yes you can, your Festival wristband allows you to come and go as you please all weekend.

  • Riverboats does not offer a concession or seniors ticket.

    Children aged 5-12 are required to purchase a Child ticket. Children 4 and under are free and do not require a ticket.

    Youths aged from 13-17 years must purchase a Youth Ticket and MUST be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times.

ACCOMMODATION

  • Echuca Moama has a fantastic range of accommodation options available – for further info click here or visit www.echucamoama.com

  • There is no public parking at Aquatic Reserve, so if possible please leave the car at home or accommodation and walk or cycle (bicycle racks will be available).

    Alternatively, street parking is available throughout Echuca - just keep an eye on those parking signs.

    A 2-minute passenger drop off zone will be in place outside the Echuca Library on Hare Street - from there it is a short, flat walk to the main entrance.

    Accessible all-day parking can be found at the following locations:

    *Campaspe Shire Offices - Hare Street

    *Campaspe Shire Offices - Heygarth Street

    *Twisted on Murray Esplanade

    *Former Echuca Moama Visitor Information Centre

  • Patrons requiring wheelchair access to the festival site have two options:

    If you are a wheelchair user and wish to access the festival’s accessible viewing platform, your best entrance point is the main festival entrance.

    Alternatively, to access the front-of-stage area and festival precinct, wheelchair users can enter via the rear gate, which is flatter than the main entrance.

    The rear gate can be accessed via the former Echuca-Moama Tourism Information Centre car park (follow the signs).

  • Riverboats supports Companion Cards. When a cardholder has purchased a Riverboats ticket and carries a valid current Companion Card, a wristband will be issued to both the cardholder and the companion.

  • Yes – V/Line run a number of train and coach services to Echuca from Melbourne, Bendigo and Shepparton – for further information visit the V-Line website

ACCESS

PERFORMING AT RIVERBOATS

  • To apply to perform at Riverboats please visit our artist application page. Due to the large volume of applications received we will only be in touch if we wish to discuss your application further.

    Please note the festival lineup for 2027 has now been finalised.

  • Unfortunately given our small festival site we are unable to allow buskers within the festival hub.

    In addition, the Shire of Campaspe does not permit buskers to perform around town

MEDIA

  • Limited seating will be provided at Riverboats, and patrons are welcome to bring their own chairs into the site.

    As per the map here, high-backed chairs must only be used behind the painted arc in front of the stage, whilst low-backed chairs and picnic rugs are permitted in front of the arc.

    Any chairs left on site at the conclusion of each festival day will be placed in our chair storage area, and Riverboats takes no responsibility for their loss, theft or damage.

  • Hand-held umbrellas and shade parasols are permitted, however large market-type umbrellas and beach shade structures of any kind are not allowed as they can be dangerous and impede the view of the stage for other patrons

  • As a fully licensed venue, strictly no alcohol or glass (with the exception of glass food containers) can be brought into the festival hub. You are welcome to bring in your own food, bottled water and soft drink

  • Absolutely – Riverboats has teamed up with some of Victoria’s best food trucks to serve up a delicious range of food over the festival weekend, whilst our three bars will stock a range of beer, wine, cocktails and RTD spirits

  • Please complete our catering application form here

  • Yes – our on-site merchandise tent will stock a range of Riverboats items, as well as albums from artists performing across the weekend.

  • February in Echuca-Moama is generally very warm, however it can get particularly chilly at night so remember to bring a jacket.

    We’d also suggest packing sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat – and footwear must be worn at all times

  • Pets of any kind are not permitted within the festival hub with the exception of guide dogs

  • Yes, you can, however professional audio or video recording is not permitted and will require media accreditation

  • The Riverboats Music Festival is cashless and there are no ATMs on site.

    To make a purchase from our bars, food vendors or merchandise outlet, please bring a credit or EFTPOS card along with you

  • Like any major event there will be a lot of people dancing, drinking and generally having a good time at Riverboats.

    With this in mind it is very important that parents keep one eye on the kids at all times.

  • Unfortunately given our limited size we are unable to accommodate market stall-holders
