Where is Echuca-Moama?
Echuca-Moama is in northern Victoria on the banks of the Murray River, approximately 200kms (2.5 hours) from Melbourne. It is situated on the Northern Highway, roughly one hour from Bendigo and 45 minutes from Shepparton. Mr Google has prepared a map for you here
Where in Echuca-Moama is Riverboats held?
All performances take place at the Festival Hub, located at Aquatic Reserve – Heygarth Street, Echuca. Aquatic Reserve is situated right next to the Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre, so follow the blue tourist information signs as you’re coming into town – alternatively, click here to download a map

How do I buy a ticket and when do they go on sale?

If you purchased tickets online via Trybooking and have lost the email sent to you at the time of purchase, follow the link below and TryBooking will resend a link to your tickets:
If you arrive at the Festival Hub without your ticket you will need to present a valid form of photo ID for us to reissue.

Where do I pick up my ticket / exchange my ticket for a wristband?
Upon arrival at the Riverboats Music Festival - Aquatic Reserve, Echuca, patrons must present either a printed TryBooking ticket for scanning OR have a mobile device ready and available with a digital copy of their ticket visible on the screen. Festival staff will then scan the ticket's QR code and issue an applicable wristband.
*A valid wristband must be worn at all times to gain access to the Riverboats Music Festival Hub - no wristband, no entry.
Can I leave the Festival Hub and come back in?
Yes you can, your Festival wristband allows you to come and go as you please all weekend
My plans have changed. Will you refund my ticket?
No refunds or exchanges are available
I am no longer able to attend, can I sell my festival ticket?
Yes you can. In the event that a patron is unable to attend Riverboats, no refunds will be issued. Patrons are however permitted to resell their tickets for the original purchase price.
*Tickets cannot be on-sold by any means at a price greater than the purchase price of the ticket. Scalped tickets may be cancelled, and the ticket holder may not be permitted entry.
Organisers encourage patrons wishing to resell tickets to do so via the festival's official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/riverboatsmusic, and specifically via the 'Events' section of the page. Organisers will not be held responsible for any transactions or ticket exchanges coordinated privately between patrons. It is the responsibility of the individual buyer and seller to ensure the transaction is completed in a satisfactory manner.
Is there an early bird discount?
Are there any concessions on tickets?
A youth ticket is available (13 to 17 years of age). Please note children 12 years and under are free and don’t require a ticket
Is there a family ticket available?
Yes – A discount family ticket allows entry for x2 adults and x2 children (13-17 years of age)
I need to bring a carer to assist me
The Riverboats Music Festival supports Companion Card. Simply ask your companion to present their Companion Card upon arrival at the Festival Box Office and we will provide them with a festival wristband that matches your own

Can I get my hands on a printed program before the Festival?
Yes. The official Riverboats 2019 program will be available from the Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre a week prior to the festival, as well as at the gate during the event

Where can I park?
If you are staying in town, please consider walking to Riverboats from your accommodation. Should you need to drive, there is parking available along Heygarth Street, at the Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre and around town. Please make sure you observe all parking signs and road closures, as the Shire of Campaspe’s parking inspectors are outstandingly good at their jobs
What services are available for people with a disability?
Patrons requiring disabled access to the Riverboats Music Festival must purchase / collect their tickets from the Festival Box Office on Heygarth Street before proceeding to the disabled parking area. Short-term parking spaces located in front of the Festival Box Office will be reserved to allow disabled patrons to pull in and collect their tickets
Once tickets have been collected, the disabled parking area is accessed by driving through the Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre carpark – after entering the carpark drive straight past the front doors of the Visitor Centre (on your left), around the right hand side of the building and along the dirt track, following the festival signs
Can I get to the festival on public transport?
Yes – V/Line run a number of train and coach services to Echuca from Melbourne, Bendigo and Shepparton – for further information visit the V-Line website
PERFORMING AT THE FESTIVAL
How do I apply to perform as part of Riverboats?
Each year we receive a large number of enquiries from artists wishing to perform at Riverboats. We do not have a formal application process or cutoff date (we do however launch in October each year, so bear this in mind), so if you would like to be considered please get in touch and we'd be happy to have a listen to your work.

Can I busk?
Unfortunately given our small festival site we are unable to allow buskers within the festival hub. In addition, the Shire of Campaspe does not permit buskers to perform around town
I am a journalist / photographer and would like to cover Riverboats. Can I get accreditation?

What is your chair policy?
After extensive audience feedback, in 2019 the main Riverboats seating area (in front of the stage) will comprise of two zones:
The stage side of the walking path will be reserved for low camp / beach-style chairs (see example here), picnic rugs and standing room only.
If you have a high-backed camp chair such as this, you will need to sit on the far side of the walking path, away from the stage. All other chairs, as well as picnic rugs and standing patrons, will also be permitted in this zone.
There are no chair restrictions around the rear of the venue (on the other side of the creek)
What kind of seating is provided?
A limited number of white plastic chairs and tables will be available, however you are welcome to bring your own camp chair or picnic rug. Strictly no large market-type umbrellas or shade structures of any kind are allowed to be brought into the festival hub.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
As a fully licensed venue, strictly no alcohol can be brought into the festival hub. You are however welcome to bring in your own food, bottled water and soft drink
Can I buy food and drink at Riverboats?
Absolutely – Riverboats has teamed up with some of Victoria’s best food trucks to serve up a delicious range of food over the festival weekend, whilst our two bars will stock a range of beer, wine and RTD spirits

Will merchandise be available at the festival?
Yes – our on-site merchandise tent will stock a range of Riverboats items, as well as albums from artists performing across the weekend
What should I wear?
February in Echuca-Moama is generally very warm, however it can get particularly chilly at night so remember to bring a jacket. We’d also suggest packing sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat – and footwear must be worn at all times
Can I bring my dog?
Pets of any kind are not permitted within the festival hub with the exception of guide dogs
Can I bring my camera?
Yes, you can, however audio or video recording is not permitted
Is there an ATM on site?
No, however there are numerous ATMs on Hare Street, approximately 300 metres from the festival hub – the Riverboats Box Office and Festival Bars will also have EFTPOS facilities available
Is Riverboats safe for kids?
Like any major event there will be a lot of people dancing, drinking and generally having a good time at Riverboats. With this in mind it is very important that parents keep one eye on the kids at all times.
In addition (and this is very important), a small creek runs through the festival hub into a dam. Please note neither the creek nor the dam are fenced, so if you have very little children please keep an eye on them at all times.
