THE RIVERBOATS MUSIC FESTIVAL is staged at AQUATIC RESERVE – HEYGARTH STREET, ECHUCA

Aquatic Reserve is located right next to the Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre between Echuca’s historic port precinct and the Moama bridge – simply follow the blue tourist information signs as you’re coming into town.

Getting to Echuca-Moama

By Car

Echuca-Moama is two and a half hours from Melbourne on the Northern Highway. Mr Google has prepared a map for you below, however in dot point form…

 

- From the CBD travel up Sydney Road (or take Citylink / Western Ring Road) and get onto the Hume Highway. Take the Wallan / Kilmore exit and travel up the Northern highway through Wallan, Kilmore, Heathcote and onto Elmore, following the signs all the way to Echuca. 

- Once in town, follow the blue tourist information signs to the Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre – the festival hub is right next door on Heygarth Street

By Bus or Train

V/Line runs regular bus and train services to Echuca-Moama from Melbourne and a number of other regional centres. Most of these services terminate at the Echuca railway station, and from there you can either hail a cab to the festival hub at Aquatic Reserve on Heygarth Street, or alternatively walk – it’s about 750 metres.

By Aeroplane

If you’re flying in from interstate, the closest major airport is Tullamarine / Melbourne Airport. From here visitors can hire a car or travel on V/Line. Echuca-Moama is a 2½ hours drive from Tullamarine Airport.

Disabled Site Access

Patrons requiring disabled access to the Riverboats Music Festival must purchase / collect their tickets from the main Festival Box Office on Heygarth Street, Echuca before proceeding to the disabled parking area. Short-term parking spaces located in front of the Festival Box Office will be reserved to allow disabled patrons to pull in and collect their tickets.

Once tickets have been collected, the disabled parking area is accessed by driving through the Echuca-Moama Visitor Information Centre carpark – after entering the carpark drive straight past the front doors of the Visitor Centre (on your left), around the right hand side of the building and along the dirt track, following the Festival signs.
